This first program of the Jing Lyman Lecture Series features Deborah L. Rhode, author of "Myths of Meritocracy: Affirmative Action Under Siege." There will also be an open house at IRWG, Serra House, Nov. 5, 5--6:30 pm.
This day of celebration is presented in three tracks: wellness, communication, and marketplace. Special guest is Joyce Mungherea, director of the YWCA of Uganda and international leader for peace and women's rights. Come for all or part of the day's program.
At each meeting we will have a general and short review and then break up into at least two groups -- one for financing the radio station and the other about programming and production opportunities. If there is anyone you feel is passionate about joining in, please pass their information along to me so that we can send them the back-up information as well as an invitation to participate.
