Comments:

If you love working with your hands and building things, learn as much as you can about the different ways to make things with various materials. Then start building things with those skills. Read lots of magazines and books that talk about those skills. Go to places like museums or amusement parks or the theater that make you think about what you are building. Be serious about your tools and materials - they don't have to be expensive, just good quality for what you are doing.
