Path:
Having stupidly dropped out of school when I was offered a job as
a cub reporter on an English weekly newspaper, I quickly realised
that I would have to make my own opportunities. I soon discovered
a flair for entertainment news/reviews and specialised, which led
to offers of jobs with a daily newspaper, a huge entertainment
venue (as publicist) and a record company. I took 5 years out of
music to learn broadcasting which led, eventually, to an offer from
a women's empowerment group to join their consortium to purchase
a commercial radio station.
